• Every code it makes is a static QR code: the content (link, text, WiFi details) is encoded in the image itself, not behind a redirect link, so it never expires and cannot be put behind a paywall.

How it works

As you type, your browser encodes the content into a QR pattern, draws it in the style you choose and, if you add one, composites it onto a background photo. No network request ever carries your QR content, logo or photo. The site only serves its own HTML, styles, scripts and fonts; its Content Security Policy (default-src 'self') forbids third-party scripts.

What is stored

Only your style and language choices, in your browser's local storage, so the same look is there when you come back. QR contents are never stored, because they can contain WiFi passwords.

Automatic scan check

Every design is re-scanned by a QR decoder in your browser, both sharp and slightly blurred like a real camera. The "Scans cleanly" badge means the exact content was read back.
